Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework
Chapter 3.2.2: Safeguarding people and the environment (key management processes) – Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework

Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework 3.2.2-c: Environmental performance management (maturity example, question 2.34)

What does 3.2.2-c require?

Companies commit to managing their environmental performance. The maturity path runs from managing environmental matters only for compliance (Level 1), to defined strategic objectives and actions that control and reduce the footprint (Level 2), to periodic analysis of performance indicators and of the action plan's implementation and effectiveness, with community concerns and the organisation's risks and opportunities considered (Level 3), to top management regularly reviewing performance, accounting for the objectives and ensuring resources (Level 4).
