CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) 9.2.7-9.2.10: Questions 9.2.7 to 9.2.10: Water: withdrawals by source, discharges by destination and treatment, emissions to water

What does 9.2.7-9.2.10 require?

The organisation reports withdrawals by source (fresh surface water, brackish surface water or seawater, renewable and non-renewable groundwater, produced or entrained water, third-party sources) with relevance and comparison; discharges by destination (fresh surface water, brackish or seawater, groundwater, third-party destinations); the highest level of treatment applied to discharges in direct operations (tertiary, secondary, primary, none) with volumes and whether compliance goes beyond requirements; and emissions to water of priority substances such as nitrates, phosphates and pesticides. CDP's ambition is monitoring and reduction of emissions of priority substances.
