Module 1: Introduction – CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project)

CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) 1.22-1.23: Questions 1.22 and 1.23: Produced and sourced commodities

What does 1.22-1.23 require?

The organisation lists the commodities it produces and/or sources with volumes for the reporting period, indicating whether each is produced, sourced or both, whether soy is direct or embedded in animal products, and whether each is significant to the business by revenue; agricultural, food and paper and forestry organisations identify which agricultural commodities are most significant to their revenue. CDP's ambition is that every commodity and volume produced or sourced is disclosed, because this establishes dependence on commodities linked to deforestation, high emissions and heavy water use.
