CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project)
Module 1: Introduction – CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project)

CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) 1.1-1.9: Questions 1.1 to 1.9: Introduction: language, currency, reporting year, boundary and identifiers

What does 1.1-1.9 require?

The organisation states the response language and one currency for all financial figures; gives an overview of itself; states the end date of its reporting year and whether it will report emissions for past years (CDP's ambition is that the period matches the financial statements); gives annual revenue; defines its reporting boundary (ambition: the same boundary as its financial statements, applied consistently, with value chain information outside it given as supplementary); gives its ISIN or other identifier; lists the countries or areas where it operates; for water disclosers requested by supply chain members, says whether facility geolocation can be given and provides it; and for financial services, states total assets at year end.
