The organisation classifies what it does so the right sector-specific questions appear: financial institutions state which banking, investing and insurance activities they undertake and which industry sectors they lend to, invest in or insure; organisations in agriculture, in paper and forestry, and in food, beverage and tobacco state whether emissions or water impacts from production, processing, distribution or consumption of their commodities are relevant; and organisations in concrete, coal, chemicals, real estate and construction, electric utilities, metals and mining, oil and gas, steel and transport identify their part of the value chain (utilities also give nameplate capacity and generation by technology, where CDP's leadership criterion looks for more than 90 percent of generation from low-carbon sources; miners describe their mining projects, type, location and method; transport organisations name the modes they will report).
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
