An intermediary or electronic commerce service provider must obtain a permission letter or licence from the Ministry of Commerce (a permit for a natural person operating an electronic business, a licence for a legal person providing electronic commerce services) and an online service certificate from the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. Types, formalities and exceptions are set by Sub-Decree No. 134 of 27 August 2020. Operating without them is an offence under Article 56.
