Cambodia Law on Electronic Commerce 2019 25.2-3: Article 25(2) and (3): preserve and report suspicious facts, and carry out Ministry instructions

Where an intermediary or electronic commerce service provider is aware of facts or circumstances that may lead to civil or criminal liability, it must preserve the information as evidence and notify the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications or the competent ministry or institution. On notice of such information, the Ministry or competent institution may instruct it to remove the record, suspend or stop services to the person, or suspend or stop services for that record; acting in good faith on such an instruction carries no civil liability (25(4)). A person who files a notice knowing it is false or misleading is liable (25(5)).
