BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 6.2.3: Packing and labelling checks at start, during, at packaging batch changes and at the end of each run, including printed information

What does 6.2.3 require?

Procedures must make sure that every product goes into the right packaging and carries the right label. Checks are made when packing starts, at set intervals during the run, when printed packaging or labels are delivered to the line, whenever the packaging batch changes, and when each run finishes; they verify any information printed at packing, such as date and batch codes, quantity, price, bar codes, country of origin and allergen information.
