Processes must control how non-food chemicals are used, stored and handled so that they cannot contaminate product. As a minimum there must be an approved list for purchasing; safety data sheets and specifications; confirmation that each chemical is suitable for use in a food environment; avoidance of strongly scented products; containers that carry labels throughout; a designated store to which access is restricted, kept apart from chemicals used as ingredients; use only by trained staff; and procedures for dealing with spills and disposal.
This control maps to 3 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 3 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
