BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 1.2.3: Staff aware of the duty to report risks and unsafe or out-of-specification product to a designated manager

What does 1.2.3 require?

Staff must know that they are expected to tell a designated manager about any risk, or any sign that product, equipment, packaging or raw materials are unsafe or outside specification, so that issues needing immediate action can be resolved.
