Australian Education Act 2013 (Australia)
Part 2: Conditions of financial assistance to States and Territories – Australian Education Act 2013 (Australia)

Australian Education Act 2013 (Australia) s22A: s 22A Fund government and non-government schools at least to the State-Territory contribution

Each year the State or Territory's total funding for government schools, and separately for non-government schools, located in it must equal or exceed the State-Territory contribution amount: its State-Territory share multiplied by the total Schooling Resource Standard amount for those schools. Unless the bilateral reform agreement says otherwise, the share after the transition years is 75 to 80 per cent for government schools and 15 to 20 per cent for non-government schools, depending on the starting share; the Northern Territory's shares from 2029 are 60 and 20 per cent.
