Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Schedule 2) s221: ss 219 to 222 Comply with a substantiation notice and give no false or misleading information in response

Where the regulator gives a person a substantiation notice requiring information or documents that could substantiate a claim or representation it has made (about the supply, promotion or interests in land), the person must comply within 21 days of the notice or any extended period the regulator allows on application (ss 219 to 221), and must not give information or documents that are false or misleading in a material particular (s 222).
