Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule)
Part 2-3 Division 3A Subdivision A: annual reports of non-corporate Commonwealth entities (sections 17AA to 17AJ, Schedule 2) – Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule)

Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule) 17AG(7)-(7A),17AGA: Consultancy and non-consultancy contract reporting (non-corporate): give the counts and actual GST-inclusive expenditure for new and ongoing reportable contracts with the prescribed statements, summarise consultant selection policies, and name the organisations receiving the largest shares

What does 17AG(7)-(7A),17AGA require?

For reportable consultancy contracts, the report gives the number of new contracts and their total actual expenditure in the period, the number of ongoing contracts from earlier periods and their expenditure (all GST inclusive), the prescribed summary sentence, a summary of how the entity chooses and engages consultants (its policy and its procedure) and the chief reasons it engaged them, and the prescribed AusTender reference sentence. The same counts, expenditure and AusTender sentence are required for reportable non-consultancy contracts. Under section 17AGA, where five or more organisations were paid, the report names the five receiving the largest shares and any organisation receiving at least five per cent of the category's total expenditure, with amounts; otherwise it names every organisation paid and the amount.
