Paid annual leave may be taken before it accrues if employer and employee agree in writing. The agreement must state the amount and start date and be signed by both (and a parent or guardian if the employee is under 18). The employer must keep a copy as an employee record. If employment ends before the leave is accrued, the employer may deduct the unaccrued amount from money due on termination. Schedule K is an optional template.
