Any person the Commissioner believes on reasonable grounds holds information or documents relevant to a provider's compliance with s 63D, 63DA(1) or 63DB(1), or to whether a service is specified in the rules under s 63C(1)(b) or (6)(b), may be required by written notice to give the information or produce the documents within the period and in the manner specified (not by summons). Compliance to the extent capable; 1,000 penalty units for notices given on or after 12 September 2026 (500 before); infringement notice at one-fifth of the maximum.
