Where GM micro-organisms are to be used, any surface they touch (benches, floors and walls, for instance) must be impenetrable to them, have processes in place that keep it from becoming contaminated, or be capable of being decontaminated effectively. The note gives as an example of keeping a floor from being contaminated standing pots in plastic trays so that drained water is held and can be decontaminated. This sits under the Part A heading for dealings with GM micro-organisms, so it applies in addition to the other requirements when any proposed dealing involves them.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
