Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Constant Temperature Room (Version 2.1) C18: When GMOs may leave the room

What does C18 require?

GMOs needing PC2 containment, and any other organism that may be cross-contaminated with them, must not leave the room unless they are (a) going to another containment facility that holds Regulator certification at PC2 or higher; (b) going elsewhere for storage; (c) going elsewhere to be decontaminated before disposal, or to be disposed of by a method that also decontaminates; (d) going to another destination in Australia with the Regulator's written permission; or (e) going to the Australian border for export, subject to any permits needed. The source's cross-reference for cross-contamination points to Behavioural Requirement 3 (windows), which appears to mean requirement 1.
