What does A9 require?

This item applies only where a planned dealing will use GM micro-organisms. If any planned dealing there is with GMOs classed as Risk Group 2 organisms, eyewash must be provided inside the facility, either a plumbed unit or single-use packs of sterile irrigation fluid. The Regulator does not ask for more than one unit, and the guideline suggests thinking about suitable eye protection as well.
