This item applies only where a planned dealing will use GM micro-organisms. The facility needs either its own wash-basin with taps that work without being touched by hand, or another way to decontaminate hands. The guideline explains that hand decontamination helps stop GM micro-organisms being released by accident and protects staff, that a basin with hand-turned taps is not acceptable because the taps can spread contamination, and that alternatives such as dispensers of decontaminant solution are suitable.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
