Australia NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework 2016 I-6: Provider complaints systems and access to an independent complaints body

Registered providers have effective internal complaints arrangements proportionate to their size and risk, keep accurate records of complaints and responses for the complaints body and auditors, and must not require complainants to come to them first: anyone can complain directly to the independent NDIS complaints function about any provider of NDIS-funded supports, registered or not, with whistle-blower protection for participants and employees.
