Australia National Quality Standard for Education and Care Services (ACECQA) 2.2.1: Standard 2.2 Element 2.2.1 Supervision

At all times reasonable precautions and adequate supervision must protect children from harm and hazard, including on excursions and during transport the service provides, and in online environments. The Guide links s 165 (inadequate supervision), s 166, s 166A, s 167 (harm and hazards), ss 170 to 171 (unauthorised persons), Regulations 82 and 83 (drugs, alcohol, tobacco and vaping), 84A to 84D (sleep and rest), 99 to 102 (children leaving premises, excursions) and 102AAB to 102F (safe arrival, transport risk assessments).
