Australia National Quality Standard for Education and Care Services (ACECQA) 2.1.1: Standard 2.1 Element 2.1.1 Wellbeing and comfort

Each child's wellbeing and comfort must be provided for, including opportunities for sleep, rest and relaxation appropriate to the child. The Guide links s 166 and s 166A (inappropriate discipline and inappropriate conduct) and Regulations 84A to 84D (sleep and rest, policies, risk assessment, prohibition of bassinets).
