11.02 PoCT roles and responsibilities: ensure the workforce performing point of care testing are skilled, competent and within scope, can perform, interpret, monitor and produce reliable results, and understand their PoCT roles, responsibilities and accountabilities with support to fulfil them

11.04 PoCT performance management: review the performance of workforce members undertaking point of care testing to ensure competence, and identify their training, development and supervision needs
11.05 Interprofessional collaboration: when coordinating point of care testing for health services, provide opportunities for collaboration between the practice's workforce and the clinicians using PoCT
11.06 PoCT procedures: in addition to the practice's test procedures, ensure PoCT procedures include traceability of samples to the original specimen, patient and device, include reference intervals for identifiable patient groups, and are audited regularly for workforce compliance
11.07 PoCT test results: ensure results and related information from point of care devices are included in the patient's healthcare record, automatically where possible
