A non-drinking water service must not be cross-connected to a drinking water service. Its pipes, outlets, fittings, storage and holding tanks must be clearly identified, and it may be connected only to outlets identified for non-drinking use. Deemed-to-Satisfy B3D2: it must not feed any outlet used for human consumption, food preparation, food utensil washing or personal hygiene; B3D3 requires installation to AS/NZS 3500.1.
