A Class 1 building must have suitable sanitary facilities for personal hygiene in a convenient location within or associated with it, laundering facilities or space for them with sanitary waste water disposal, and a food preparation facility with a means of rinsing food and washing utensils and disposing of the waste water, a means of cooking and a food preparation space. A sanitary compartment must have enough space, or another means, to allow an unconscious occupant to be removed.
