Where it is uncertain whether the exposure standard is likely to be exceeded, the PCBU ensures a competent person carries out air monitoring of the asbestos-related work area; if the standard was exceeded, it determines who was in the area, warns those workers and, so far as reasonably practicable, other persons of possible exposure, and makes the determination and results readily accessible to them.
