Australia Model Work Health and Safety Regulations r452-453: rr 452 and 453 Identify and remove asbestos before demolition, including residential premises

Before demolishing a structure or plant (non-emergency), the person with management or control of the workplace or the structure or plant, or for residential premises the PCBU carrying out the demolition, ensures all asbestos likely to be disturbed is identified and, so far as reasonably practicable, removed before demolition starts, unless the demolition is to gain access to the asbestos.
