Australia Model Work Health and Safety Regulations r446: r 446 No high-pressure water or compressed air on asbestos; control power tools and brooms

A PCBU does not use, or direct or allow the use of, high-pressure water spray (except for firefighting or fire protection) or compressed air on asbestos or ACM, and uses power tools, brooms and other implements that release airborne asbestos only when controlled: enclosed, designed to capture or suppress fibres and used as designed, used in a way designed to capture or suppress fibres safely, or a combination.
