A PCBU ensures health monitoring is provided to workers carrying out licensed asbestos removal work (starting before they begin) or other ongoing asbestos removal or asbestos-related work who are at risk of exposure, informs workers of the requirements before they do work that may expose them, and ensures the monitoring includes consideration of demographic, medical and occupational history and personal exposure records, and a physical examination, unless a registered medical practitioner recommends another type.
