A PCBU ensures so far as reasonably practicable that no person, plant or thing comes within an unsafe distance of an overhead or underground electric line, and where that is not reasonably practicable ensures a risk assessment is done and controls are consistent with it and with any requirements of the electricity supply authority responsible for the line.
