Australia Indigenous Procurement Policy (May 2026)
Section 2 Annual targets for purchasing from Indigenous enterprises – Australia Indigenous Procurement Policy (May 2026)

Australia Indigenous Procurement Policy (May 2026) 2.4: Counting toward targets: direct contracts and purchases with Indigenous enterprises, related subcontracts, multi-year contracts (counted for volume in every year revenue flows and for value in the year executed, with variations counted when they occur) and official orders under panels including coordinated and cooperative arrangements; anything not on AusTender or reported by a supplier through the IPPRS is reported to the NIAA by the Portfolio

What does 2.4 require?

A Portfolio may count toward its targets direct contracts and purchases that an entity within it awards to an Indigenous enterprise, subcontracts awarded to an Indigenous enterprise that directly relate to the goods and services the entity contracted, multi-year contracts (toward the volume target in each year the Indigenous enterprise receives revenue, and toward the value target in full in the year the contract was executed, with any increase counted in the year of the variation), and official orders including subcontracts under panel arrangements, whether coordinated or cooperative. Procurement and purchases that are not reported on AusTender or by a supplier through the IPPRS must be reported by the Portfolio to the NIAA through the IPPRS.
