Australia Health Practitioner Regulation National Law 2009 s196A: s 196A Comply with tribunal prohibition orders and disclose them before providing services

A person subject to a prohibition order made by a responsible tribunal (or a corresponding order in another jurisdiction) does not contravene it (maximum $60,000 or three years' imprisonment) and, before providing any health service, gives written notice of the order to the recipient (or parent or guardian), their employer, any contracting entity and any entity for which they volunteer (maximum $5,000). No person advertises a health service by the prohibited person without stating that the person is subject to a prohibition order (maximum $5,000 individual, $10,000 body corporate).
