A registered practitioner (other than non-practising) does not practise unless appropriate professional indemnity insurance arrangements are in force for their practice, as the profession's registration standard defines, and gives the Board evidence of those arrangements when asked by written notice, unless there is a reasonable excuse. Breaches are not offences but grounds for health, conduct or performance action.
