Australia Food Standards Code Standard 1.2.1 Requirements to Have Labels or Otherwise Provide Information 1.2.1-8(1): Put the full list of required information on every labelled retail food

The label of a packaged retail food must carry: the name of the food, lot identification, supplier name and address, advisory and warning statements and allergen declarations, the statement of ingredients, date marking, storage and use directions, any nutrition, health or related claim information, nutrition information, characterising ingredient information, and the content required for breakfast cereals with vitamin D, genetically modified food, irradiated food and cell-cultured food. Commodity items add to this: minced meat fat proportion, formed or joined meat and fish, fermented meat, edible oil process declarations, juice blend percentages, packaged water, electrolyte drinks, kava, caffeinated beverages (including high caffeine coffee beverages), alcohol content and standard drinks, special purpose and amino acid modified foods, infant and medical foods, salt substitutes, and the energy statement for prescribed beverages.
