Australia Disability Standards for Education 2005 s5.2-1: s 5.2(1) Participation in courses and use of facilities and services on the same basis

The provider takes reasonable steps so that an enrolled student with a disability can participate in the courses or programs and use the facilities and services of the institution on the same basis as a student without disability and without discrimination. Measures include flexible course activities, reviewing requirements to include activities the student can do, negotiated programs, additional support to reach learning outcomes, reasonable substitute activities, and designing activities outside the classroom and extra-curricular activities to include the student (s 5.3).
