Assessment without feedback teaches little. Students have regular, timely and clearly described opportunities to seek, discuss and receive feedback on their performance that guides their learning. A student falling below the expected level is picked up early and given support and performance improvement programs without delay. Academic staff and clinical supervisors are told how cohorts have performed so teaching can respond.
