ASIC Market Integrity Rules (Securities Markets) 2017 (Australia) 2.2.1-2.2.5: Hold adequate professional indemnity insurance and notify ASIC of relevant legal proceedings

A participant acting for others must hold, at all times, professional indemnity (or equivalent) insurance it reasonably judges adequate for its business, covering breach of professional duty by it and its employees, and immediately tell ASIC whenever it notifies its insurer of a claim, potential claim or circumstance; it must also immediately notify ASIC and the market operator of legal proceedings with other participants, clearing participants, regulators or clients that may affect the market operator's operations or the interpretation of the rules.
