Zones around pools, spas (up to 680 L capacity treated as spa tubs) and fountains govern equipment: luminaires, appliances and other equipment in Zones 0 to 2 are restricted by type (SELV, separation, RCD) per Amendment 1, generation systems are excluded from zones, and pools may not be placed where the distributor's equipment falls within a zone.
