AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 Industrial Fall-Arrest Systems and Devices - Selection, Use and Maintenance 4.3: 4.3 Safe use of harness, lanyard and pole strap systems

Harness, lanyard and pole strap systems are used to the manufacturer's instructions with harnesses correctly fitted and adjusted, lanyards attached only to rated anchorages and connectors fully closed and locked, slack minimised, and precautions against inadvertent release of attachment hardware (clause 4.3.6); pole straps are used for restrained fall on poles.
