All-glass or frameless doors, sidelights and other glazing a person could take for an open doorway, if not already crossed by a chair rail, handrail or transom, must be marked across their full width with a solid, non-transparent contrasting line at least 75 mm high with its bottom edge 900 mm to 1000 mm up from the finished floor. The 2021 edition adds that logos or branding may be placed on the indicator only if they sit fully above or fully below the unbroken 75 mm line. The predecessor sets 30 % luminance contrast against the floor surfaces within 2 m.
