The operator of an aged care digital platform on which an entity represents that it can deliver a service in the Commonwealth aged care system must check and display whether the entity is a registered provider and its registration categories, whether any aged care, NDIS or former Commission Act banning order is or has been in force against it, whether an aged care worker entity meets the applicable worker screening requirements, whether the entity holds the credentials or qualifications stated on the platform, and general information about how credentials are checked. Contravention is a civil penalty of 500 penalty units.
