A registered provider must cooperate with anyone performing functions or exercising powers under the Act (including its legislative instruments and the Regulatory Powers Act), including by giving access to approved residential care homes, and must cooperate with and assist people undertaking costing and pricing studies for the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority, complying with its written notices to give data or records (at least 14 days) and to allow access to persons and homes (outside CHSP and TCP). Failure is a civil penalty of 30 penalty units.
