AASB 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements
Objective, scope and general requirements for financial statements (paragraphs 1 to 40) – AASB 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements

AASB 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements 31-32: Give comparative information for every amount and, where needed for understanding, for narrative information, in each primary statement and the notes

What does 31-32 require?

Except where a Standard allows or demands otherwise, prior period comparatives must accompany every amount reported for the current period, and narrative or descriptive comparatives must be included where necessary to understand the current period. Each primary statement and the notes must present the current and preceding periods; additional comparative periods are governed by the application guidance.
