For plant whose design must be registered, a business must not use it unless the design is registered and the registration number is kept with the plant, and must keep the design and manufacturer's information. For items of plant that must be registered (boilers, pressure vessels, tower and mobile cranes above the stated capacity, lifts, building maintenance units, amusement devices and the rest of Schedule 5 Division 2), the business must hold current registration, keep records of tests, inspections, maintenance, commissioning and alterations, make them available, and meet the additional duties for the listed plant.
