An agreed issue resolution procedure must at least include the steps in regulation 22: who the parties are, how the issue is reported, how it will be resolved and how the outcome is recorded; the default procedure in the Act applies otherwise, and a party may ask that the resolution be set out in writing. Where a worker ceases unsafe work under the Act, the business must give the worker suitable alternative work where reasonably practicable and keep the worker engaged on the same terms until the work can safely resume. Part 2.4 (entry permits) is not used in Western Australia.
