Victoria Owners Corporations Act 2006
Part 6: First meeting and obligations of the initial owner – Victoria Owners Corporations Act 2006

Victoria Owners Corporations Act 2006 67A-67B: Developer disclosure of relationships and contracts at the first meeting

What does 67A-67B require?

At the first meeting the applicant for registration must disclose any relationship with the manager and any immediate or future financial transactions that will or foreseeably will arise from it, and any specific benefits flowing to the applicant from that relationship. A contract entered into by the applicant on behalf of the owners corporation before the first meeting is limited as section 67B provides, so that long-term supply or management contracts cannot be locked in by the developer.
