Part 12: Registration of managers, and Part 13 general provisions – Victoria Owners Corporations Act 2006

Victoria Owners Corporations Act 2006 180-183: Registration application, annual fee and annual statement

What does 180-183 require?

An application for registration is made to the Business Licensing Authority in the approved form with the prescribed fee (regulation 19) and the information section 180 requires, and the Authority may require further information. A registered manager must pay the prescribed annual registration fee on each anniversary of registration (regulation 20, with a late lodgement fee under regulation 21), accompanied by a signed statement for the year that includes confirmation of professional indemnity insurance and the other matters the Authority's form requires. Non-payment leads to cancellation, and the Authority maintains the register of managers with the prescribed information (regulation 21A).
