Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s148B-3: s 148B(3) Do not receive a benefit under a penalty insurance or indemnity term

A person must not accept a benefit under a contract or arrangement term that purports to insure or indemnify that person for liability for a pecuniary penalty under the Act or regulations. Maximum penalty: 300 penalty units for an individual, 1500 for a body corporate; indictable but may be heard summarily.
