Vermont Data Privacy and Online Surveillance Act 2415e-a8: 9 V.S.A. § 2415e(a)(8) and (b) No retaliation for exercising rights; loyalty programmes allowed

A controller must not discriminate against a consumer for exercising rights, such as by denying goods or services, charging different prices or giving a different quality; it need not provide a product requiring data it does not collect and may offer different terms in connection with voluntary participation in a bona fide loyalty, rewards, premium features, discount or club card programme.
