US Interagency Sound Practices to Strengthen Operational Resilience A-DET: Cyber detection: timely detection and impact analysis of anomalous activity, monitoring of systems and assets at discrete intervals, and maintained and tested detection processes

What does A-DET require?

Cyber detection practices: anomalous activity is detected promptly and its potential impact, financial impact included, is analysed and understood; systems and assets are monitored at set intervals to find cybersecurity events and confirm that protective measures work; and detection processes and procedures are maintained and tested so that anomalous events get a timely response.
